We utilize all holistic methods in treatment of plants, trees, animals, and humans. No pesticides or chemicals, only herbs, etc. We are virtually self-sufficient, aside from the gasoline necessary to power the generator and chain saws.

The livestock provide great weed abatement services during the winter and spring months. All birds: geese, ducks, chickens, peafowl, guineas, etc. provide some weed control, as well as very effective bug control. The country cats keep the mice, rats, gophers, and cotton tail bunnies at bay. We have many predators here, i.e., mountain lions, bobcats, coyotes, foxes, feral dogs, owls, hawks, etc., but we have found great protection with great pyrenees livestock guardian dogs.

We've planted over 200 trees, in the past 4 years. 20 of these are fruit and nut trees. We have organic veggie/fruit/herb gardens that are almost providing for all of our produce needs. We utilize all livestock, rabbit, and bird manures for our composting.

We are also home to Whispering Winds Wholistic Animal Sanctuary. This is an all animal rescue and rehab facility.

We have found, by and large, holistic methods of pest control, parasite control, and alternative medical treatments, to be much more effective and healthier for all concerned versus traditional methods of treatment. All beings, whether human, plant, or animal, retain better health with holistic methods. Standard methods of disease prevention, illness, pest control, etc. have often failed us, at great expense to the being's health.

It is our goal to maintain the quality of health for all beings here and to offer alternatives for those choosing to research alternative health and healing methods. Many products we sell are those we have found very hard to obtain at our local feed/pet stores and health food stores. Additionally, many of these products we utilize here at Wolf Creek Ranch for ourselves, plants, and animals and have found superior results are obtained with them.
